Using a sharp chef's knife, slice the Belgian endive and prepare the mixed greens, placing them into a large mixing bowl.





Pat the sashimi-grade tuna dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.


Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat with a small amount of oil. Once the pan is smoking hot, sear the sashimi-grade tuna for approximately 60 to 90 seconds per side until a crust forms while keeping the center rare.



Remove the tuna from the heat, let it rest for two minutes, then slice it into thin strips using a sharp knife.



Arrange the greens and endive on serving plates, top with the sliced tuna, and drizzle with your preferred salad dressing.
