While the pasta cooks, place a large sauce pot over medium heat and add the white wine, simmering for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.





Stir in the spicy tomato-based pasta sauce and fresh basil leaves, then add the cleaned mussels.





Cover the pot and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mussel shells have opened completely; discard any that remain closed.


Drain the cooked pasta and divide it into bowls, then ladle the mussels and sauce generously over the top.
