Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and blanch the kale until tender. Drain the kale well.




Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the sliced garlic until fragrant.





Add the drained kale to the frying pan and sauté briefly to combine with the garlic and oil.





Toast the country style bread slices until golden brown.


Rub the toasted bread with a raw garlic clove, top with the sautéed kale, sprinkle with salt, and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
