Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer the syrup to a glass jar, then stir in the lime zest and ginger nub. Allow the mixture to steep and cool completely.







In a large pitcher, combine the lime juice, vodka, triple sec, and fresh water. Once the ginger-lime syrup has cooled, remove the ginger nub and stir the syrup into the pitcher.
