Transfer the meat mixture to a bowl, add the seasoning, and use your fingers to blend thoroughly.

Slice the Napa cabbage into large, bite-sized pieces.

Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Napa cabbage and salt, then cover and cook until the cabbage is tender but still retains a slight crunch. Remove the cabbage to a platter and keep warm.

Heat the remaining cooking oil in the same skillet. With wet hands, form the meat mixture into small balls (about 2-3 tablespoons each). Place them in the hot skillet and press down slightly on each.

Pan-sear the meatballs for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil from the skillet.

Pour the beef stock, soy sauce, and sugar into the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

Whisk the cornstarch with a little water and stir into the skillet. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

Finish by drizzling with sesame oil and garnishing with chopped green onions. Serve the meatballs over the prepared Napa cabbage.
