Arrange the white fish fillets in a single layer within the prepared baking dish and season them evenly with salt and pepper.

Top the fish with sliced red onion, bell peppers, and chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle the dried basil, oregano, and feta cheese over the vegetables.

Drizzle the olive oil and white wine over the entire dish, then finish with a generous grinding of fresh black pepper.

Bake the fish uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Remove from the oven, squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the fish, garnish with additional fresh basil or oregano, and serve alongside hot cooked rice.
