In a large pot, combine the black rice with water and pandan leaves. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.




Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer the rice for 60 to 70 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the rice is tender and has thickened into a porridge consistency.



Stir in the palm sugar and a pinch of salt, continuing to cook for another 5 minutes until the sugar has fully dissolved.
