Place the all purpose flour on a flat plate and dredge each fillet in the flour, shaking off any excess.


Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to bubble.


Add the floured fillets to the skillet and sear until golden brown on one side, then carefully flip and brown the other side.




Remove the cooked fillets from the skillet and set aside.



Pour the wine and lemon juice into the same skillet, scraping up any browned bits, and cook over medium-high heat until the liquid is reduced by half.




Spoon the reduced sauce over the fish fillets and garnish with fresh chives before serving.
