Add the remaining sugar, warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and salt to the bowl. Whisk until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.










Attach the dough hook to the stand mixer. Gradually add the all-purpose flour while mixing on low speed until a smooth, slightly sticky dough forms.



Transfer the dough to a clean bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and allow it to proof in a warm place until doubled in size.




Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into an oval shape approximately 1/4 inch thick to resemble a beaver's tail.


Heat vegetable oil in a large, deep pot to 175°C. Carefully fry the dough pieces for 30 to 45 seconds per side until golden brown.


Remove the fried dough from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Garnish with cinnamon sugar, lemon juice, or Nutella and toasted almonds as desired.
