Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.



Remove the shrimp from the pan using a slotted spoon and set them aside to cool completely.


Add the white vinegar to the remaining liquid in the skillet and simmer until the sauce has reduced to about one-third of its original volume.



Once the shrimp are cool, remove the tails and chop the meat coarsely.
