Divide the dough into small portions and flatten each piece. Place a small amount of red bean paste in the center and roll into a ball, ensuring the filling is completely enclosed.

Lightly dampen the exterior of each ball with water and roll them in toasted sesame seeds until evenly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pot to 165°C. Carefully add the sesame balls in batches, frying until they expand and turn golden brown, using a slotted spoon to turn them occasionally.




Remove the sesame balls using a slotted spoon and drain on a wire rack before serving warm.
