Cut the chilled butter into the dry ingredients using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.



Add the eggs to the mixture and knead briefly until a smooth dough forms.


Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes.

Roll out two-thirds of the dough on a floured surface and press it into a tart pan.



Spread the fruit jam evenly over the base of the tart.


Roll out the remaining dough, cut into strips using a pastry cutter, and arrange in a lattice pattern over the jam.


Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
